SSL Partner Center: Warning – The Domain you are trying to obtain an SSL certificate for is owned by one of our enterprise level customers..

In the SSL Partner Center client may get the following Warning message:
The domain you are trying to obtain an SSL certificate for is owned by one of our enterprise level customers. Please ensure you are authorized by the organization to continue with the enrollment. 
Causes:
This warning message is caused by the following reasons.
  • The client has a Symantec Direct Enterprise or Symantec Direct MPKI account. This warning message is only making the enroller of this certificate aware that another account exists.
    • This is common if the client migrated their certificate order purchasing from Symantec direct to Acmetek channels.
    • This is common if an alternate department within an organization has created a Symantec direct account. Large corporations or government sectors may have multiple departments with the same domain within them.
Resolutions:
This is a warning message within the SSL Partner Center. Any warning message depicted with
a yellow exclamation mark in yellow within the SSL Partner Center is informational to create
awareness.
  • To resolve this problem, the client can ignore the message and click Continue.
